Important Aftercare Following Your SMP Procedure

If you have decided to opt for the scalp micropigmentation (SMP) procedure from Kingdom Fades Barbershop, you need to strictly follow certain steps to protect your scalp and maintain the results.

Precautions for the First Four Days After Treatment

For the first 4 days after the last SMP procedure, follow these guidelines:

  • Do not take part in any vigorous activity that can cause profuse sweating – this can lead to excessive fading
  • Do not wash or cut the treated areas of the scalp
  • If you’re taking a shower, protect the treated area from water
  • The shower water temperature should not be so hot that it causes sweating

For the first 28 days after the last SMP procedure, follow these guidelines:

Do not use saunas or swimming pools
Do not expose yourself to excessive sunlight

After 28 days, you may start using sunblock and follow long-term aftercare procedures.

To ensure that you will enjoy your SMP tattoos permanently, follow all guidelines for both 4 and 28 days after the final treatment.
